Location: Our teams are currently working remotely and we expect this to continue for some time in light of the present circumstances.  Post pandemic, we will have a hybrid approach to working, which will include a blend of onsite and remote working

The Role:

The Data Quality Operations function within Data & Analytics provides a critical service to the bank by analysing and validating the quality of priority data in line with business requests from across the organisation. The function also seeks to identify opportunities to deliver sustainable process improvements where appropriate. The Stream Lead plays a crucial role in this by through providing the strategic direction of the business stream and engagement with senior stakeholders across the organisation. The Stream Lead, who reports to the Department Manager, manages and provides direction to the Operations Team Lead.

 

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Be accountable for the strategic direction and management of a Data Quality Operational Stream
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation
  • Provide support and develop the Team Lead
  • Resolve escalated risks and issues from the Team Lead and/or escalate challenges to the Department Manager as appropriate, providing solution options where available
  • Develop and produce high quality relevant MI under the guidance of the Department Manager
  • Work closely with the Data Quality Analytics team to identify and implement opportunities to improve processes through people, process and technology

 

You will need to show us that you can/have:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement an operational strategy
  • Support and develop an operational team lead
  • Strong analytical & organisation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt to new environments and to gain an understanding of new processes, applications and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with banking customer and credit systems is an advantage
