Location: Our teams are currently working remotely and we expect this to continue for some time in light of the present circumstances.  Post pandemic, we will have a hybrid approach to working, which will include a blend of onsite and remote working

The Role:

The Data Quality Operations function within Data & Analytics provides a critical service to the bank by analysing and validating the quality of priority data in line with business requests from across the organisation. The function also seeks to identify opportunities to deliver sustainable process improvements where appropriate. The Team Lead plays a crucial role in this through day to day management of the Data Quality Operations Team (approx.. 18 people) with responsibility for the teams delivery under the direction of the Stream Lead


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Manage the Data Quality Operations Team on a day to day basis with responsibility for the teams delivery under the direction of the Stream Lead
  • Resolve escalated risks and issues within the team and/or escalate challenges to the stream lead as appropriate, providing solution options where available
  • Provide regular high quality progress and status updates and MI to the Stream Lead
  • Establish, develop and maintain strong relationships across the organisation
  • Work with Business SME’s to quality assure the work package outputs
  • Work with Process Improvement Analysts to identify opportunities to improve processes through people, process and technology


You will need to show us that you can/have:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage, develop and support a team
  • Strong analytical & organisation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt to new environments and to gain an understanding of new processes, applications and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with banking customer and credit systems is an advantage
