About the Role:

The Local Markets vision is to be the best bank in every community.  We want to be customer focussed and dynamic, driven by empowered people and an agile mind-set and approach, with teams executing brilliantly every day, consistently out-performing the market and generating value for AIB.  Retail Managers and Sales & Advisory teams play key roles in supporting this vision.  Your focus will be to manage the Service Quality, Efficiency and Retail Sales agenda to support the delivery of the business plan and ensure the highest quality customer experience that clearly differentiates AIB from its competitors.   You will be expected to play an active part in Cork Local Market.

 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and manage the Branch Sales & Advisory Team to achieve income and sales targets with particular emphasis on the key SME and Personal segments as part of the overall effort to achieve the Branch financial goals.
  • Lead, coach, develop and motivate the Sales & Advisory team to achieve their goals underpinned by a drive for high performance, positive engagement, acknowledgement, candid feedback and team work.
  • In conjunction with the Branch Manager, manage, develop and implement the Customer Service Agenda with emphasis on delivering a consistently high quality customer experience.
  • Sustain a strong culture of compliance, controls and operational, credit & risk policies and procedures displaying AIB Leadership Behaviours at all times.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal partners and stakeholders and external influencers. Be present in the community

 

 

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Evidence of excellent customer relationship skills, ability to engage with customers and represent AIB with expertise.
  • Can demonstrate competency in providing sales leadership support to a team ensuring all members are clear on performance expectations in relation to sales and customer engagement activity.
  • A good track record in leading a team to create capacity to capitalise on sales opportunities.
  • Has encouraged the engagement and motivation of staff by providing honest, fair and frequent feedback, which focusses on continuous improvement and the development of skills and competencies.
  • Holder of full QFA or working towards this.
