The Role

The Treasury Services team are responsible for providing operational support to AIB Group Treasury for Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Derivative and Securities products. In addition the area is responsible for the monitoring of the Group’s Funding & Liquidity across a range of currencies and clearing systems. This unit is a support to multiple Treasury locations and jurisdictions

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Settlement and confirmation of Foreign Exchange and Money Market transactions.
  • Derivatives settlements – Processing of events such as roll-overs, events, Early/Partial terminations.
  • Securities Settlements – settlement of securities products (Bonds, Repos, Coupons, Corporate Actions)
  • Efficient and accurate processing of transactions across various systems.  This includes data keying, system verification on various internal systems.
  • Ability to liaise/trouble shoot with Agents and Counterparties to resolve issues and settle transactions within the deadlines specified
  • Drafting, issuance, reviewing & matching of confirmations.
  • An understanding of Treasury Nostro accounts and Clearing systems. 
  • Investigation & reconciliation of Treasury Nostro items.

  • High degree of accuracy required in all transaction processing and ability to work to deadlines in a pressurised environment.
  • Agile and flexible with regard to learning and moving around various roles within the team.
