About the Role:
Products, Retail has responsibility for our four core Product sets i.e. Mortgage, Personal & SME Credit, Current & Deposit Accounts, and Payments & Cards across all our brands (AIB/EBS/Haven/AIBGB). Products has a Group-wide remit and is a key enabler of customer centric propositions and supports the delivery of the bank’s Regulatory, Sustainment and Strategic agendas. In Products, we want to be renowned for providing reliable and simple products that deliver fair outcomes for customers in an environment where our business and colleagues thrive.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Be responsible for driving an excellent customer experience and achieve high level product and service standards
- Work with colleagues to analyse data and processes to provide solutions and enhancements to maintain optimum product operation for our customers
- Have the ability to learn and adapt to new processes across multiple customer delivery channels ensuring a robust and consistent approach to the highest standards is undertaken
- Be capable of working on own initiative and being naturally inquisitive
- Have an understanding of risk management oversight across our Product set, ensuring a robust and consistent control environment is embedded in our business.
- Have an innovative approach to their role, always seeking ways to make improvements or suggestions to create better solutions
- Deliver on specific activities / projects within defined timelines and budget in a robust and structured manner whilst adhering to relevant Group policies and processes and in particular those relating to Risk and Compliance.
- Comfortably use technology including in presenting your findings
- Develop key relationships within the bank as a Products representative
- Contribute to and promote an open and engaging environment where your colleagues can perform at their best
What you will bring:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a products change or customer service / credit role
- An interest in product delivery and the ability to learn and adapt to new processes in the management of the Banks products across multiple channels
- Capable of building strong relationships with teams and key stakeholders. Strong influencing skills. Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Apply AIB policies and procedures and regulations relevant to their role. Escalates any identified issues/opportunities, as appropriate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
