Summary of role:

These vacancies form part of the UK Corporate Origination Teams.  The Primary Focus for these roles is to originate and acquire new to bank relationships within your chosen sector to deliver significant well managed balance sheet growth primarily through syndicated and club deals.  Role holders will be responsible for identifying, developing and reviewing opportunities to support new business income streams from new to bank and existing customers.  They will act as a professional representative of the Bank within their chosen sector ensuring the highest standards of integrity and professionalism are adhered to at all times, thereby enhancing the Bank’s image and growing it’s professional contact / introducer base.   A key capability will be to have a deep expertise and knowledge of your chosen sector as well as experience of large complex transactions and lending structures including club and syndicated deals.

Minimum Criteria Please note that the following criteria form the basis of your answers on the application form. 

  1. Extensive Credit/Lending experience (minimum 5 years) through the business cycle with good analytical skills, particularly in Corporate lending with high level of attention to detail.
  2. Knowledge of financial statements and accounting.
  3. Strong relationship building and management skills with proven ability at managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the bank
  4. Experience of managing motivating and developing team members to help create a strong and productive team environment.
  5. The communication and analytical skills necessary for lending new money in a safe and measured manner whilst maintaining robust credit standards.
