Location: Flexible – London or Belfast, with a mix of office based and remote working.


This role is being offered on a permanent full time basis.


Are you a continuity and resilience SME who wants to be part of a high performing team in an organisation with an ambitious vision for the future? Are you able to make an impact and influence the delivery of continuity and resilience capability in a bank with a clear customer focussed culture?


We’re looking for someone who can:

  • take a lead role in the specification, implementation and adherence of best-practice policies, standards and practices for Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR), including full compliance with all UK regulations by the due dates;
  • act as a the primary continuity and resilience SME for senior and executive UK stakeholders, providing guidance and support, and ensuring understanding and accountability for the robust adherence to required policies, standards and practices;
  • influence stakeholders within other parts of the banking group to ensure required UK jurisdictional support and consideration, providing input and challenge, and proactively identifying risks and blockers so that they are resolved in a timely manner;
  • drive board and executive level engagement, education, and reporting through both new regulatory implementation and ongoing BAU requirements.

You will need to show us that you have:

  • a strategic and solutions focussed mind-set, with a flexible, innovative and collaborative approach to achieving objectives;
  • mastery of all applicable UK regulations and expectations regarding Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management and Operational Continuity in Resolution, and proficient knowledge of other associated frameworks;
  • people leadership skills and experience, with the ability to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, and to develop talent;
  • 5-10yrs relevant experience, preferably in UK regulated financial institutions, and with a strong awareness of industry best practice.
