The Business Services Team within Business Banking is a team of specialists working collaboratively across AIB to deliver excellence in customer service. This is delivered through our customer-centric Centres of Excellence across 3 areas – Credit Services, Fulfilment and Client Services.


Our team is made up of approx. 50 people located in a number of locations across Ireland. Our team enables and supports our customer facing colleagues in Capital Markets through providing streamlined value for money services, resolving complex issues and leading business process improvement initiatives. 


The Business Services – Credit Services Team ambition is to operate a centre of excellence as part of the Credit Journey combining accuracy and efficiency to deliver faultless execution.


We’re looking for someone who can:

  1. Prepare Credit Applications including Security Valuation & Analysis in relation to Annual Reviews & Interim Reviews.
  2. Prepare Out of Course Grade Applications.
  3. Monitor & Action Key Business Milestones & Covenant Testing through the Lending Control Diary
  4. Monitor and initiate action on all SME Regulated activities within required timelines
  5. Support the update of Credit Related Processes and Procedures
  6. Escalate any significant issues identified appropriately to ensure swift resolution
  7. Contribute to the achievement of Credit Metric KPIs on an ongoing basis.

You will need to show us that you can/have:

  1. Ideally a Degree and/ or QFA
  2. Credit application preparation, Credit assessment & Credit management experience
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail, accuracy and speed of delivery in order to provide exceptional customer service.
  4. A demonstrated an ability to build and develop strong and collaborative relationships – both internally and externally
  5. Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements.
