About the Role:
Mortgages is a key strategic focus for AIB (NI), and an area with strong growth ambitions across both Retail and Intermediary channels. This role will contribute to the growth of the AIB Mortgages, through developing business opportunities within our Intermediary partners.
The successful candidate will contribute to the creation and implementation of a broker engagement plan. They will seek out feedback and opportunities to improve the AIB (NI) Mortgage proposition. This will involve meeting brokers at their place of work, attending network events and creating innovative communications strategies in a fast and dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the Strategy and Engagement team lead in the development and implementation of a broker engagement strategy, which builds the profile of AIB (UK) within the mortgage market and builds the reputation of AIB (UK) as a trusted partner.
- Develop relationships with an existing panel of mortgage brokers to enhance AIB (NI) standing within the NI mortgage market. This will require an in-depth knowledge of mortgage policy, process, and effective stakeholder management.
- This role will contribute to the growth of the AIB Mortgages through developing business opportunities within our Intermediary partners.
- Act as a liaison between the Intermediary partner and the Mortgage Underwriting team to ensure high quality customer outcomes.
- Engaging with intermediary partners professional manner, consistently communicating our message to market, aligned to the overall UK Mortgages strategy.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in processes, propositions, and functionality, based on feedback from brokers.
- Developing industry and competitor knowledge to become an expert in the field who can add value to broker interaction and provide meaningful insights into market trends and business opportunities that can help inform strategic decisions.
- Seeking out opportunities to create and support strategic and operational initiatives that further build and enhance on existing relationships.
- Critically assessing the success of engagement methods.
- Effectively managing third party relationships in line with AIB SRM requirements. This will include broker networks/firms, sourcing systems and mortgage application platform provider.
What you will bring:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience of proactive sales.
- Can demonstrate the capability to build meaningful relationships with key business introducers or customers.
- Can demonstrate the capability to meet a challenging sales objective.
- Hold a drivers licence and have access to a vehicle.
