We are seeking a number of ambitious people to join our highly motivated and successful Retail Arrears and Credit Collections Mortgage Resolutions team.
Our core priority in Mortgage Resolutions is to support our customers in difficulty and to rehabilitate them back to financial health where feasible, while optimising the recovery for the bank. In doing so, we have a pivotal role to play in continuing to sustain the recovery of AIB and the re-establishment of the trust of our customers in the AIB Brand.
The overall objective is to maximise the recovery from non-performing debts while always ensuring compliance with the bank’s credit policy guidelines and external code of conducts.
The successful candidate(s) will operate as a Case Assessor within the team, assessing & recommending mortgage credit applications for their allocated cases in a timely manner. They will also demonstrate the ability to take on additional tasks when required.

Shortlisted candidates will ideally have:
- Previous experience in credit assessment (preferable but not essential)
- Education: Minimum relevant regulatory qualification (APA Loans & Regulation)
- Previous experience of teamwork and a customer facing/service role
Successful candidates will work within a Hybrid Model, 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home and will have a choice of base office location in either Central Park, Airside, Cork, or Limerick.

- Well-developed people and communication skills with the ability to interact with and influence the various internal and external business partners.
- Positive team player with a flexible attitude and ability to undertake additional duties when required while managing competing priorities.
- Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to deliver results to tight and competing deadlines.
- A comprehensive technical knowledge of the various Bank platforms and Customer products, policies, and operational procedures, plus an understanding of how these relate to the Bank’s Credit risk policies, Legal and Regulatory obligations.
